My name is Julia and I am a writer originally hailing from Berlin, Germany.

My work includes journalism, copywriting, translations as well as modes of nonlinear storytelling. Different forms of writing and the variety of topics I get to experience through each text have enabled me to both convey and anticipate new perspectives. Which topics are trending and what speaks to the respective audience? Whether in short or long copies, newsletters, social-media posts or websites, through in-depth research and the help of SEO tools, I aim to enhance my writing, tailored to the client’s needs.

While prioritizing the reader, writing has always expanded my world: From points of view on the water crisis in South Africa, environmentalism, issues surrounding Internet privacy, copies on fashion, health, and mindfulness to interviews on music and the arts. Through writing, I aim to assess social formations, language and culture, their ambiguities, applications, implications, and ways to decipher them through different media outlets and communication channels. My passion for cultural phenomena and writing have been the driver for finding different angles and new perspectives.
